Toothless Tyce

It fell out!  Tyce lost his first tooth before he even went to kindergarten.  One day he said he thought his tooth was loose and yep! surprise to us all, it was super duper loose!  The tooth fairy visited that night and even wrote an itty bitty note.  Tyce was concerned that he wouldn't be able to do the same stuff he could do before he lost it, like swim...but it turns out---he can do it all!  Whew!

He said to me, "Remember when you and Dad were at the temple doing the 'roof thingy'?" (We went to a temple sealing--he thought ceiling!)

Kona

The big boys got to travel to travel to Kona again this year as 'North Shore Hoops'.  Cruz and Oshyn were on the same team which made it extra fun to watch.  They worked hard and had a good time learning and hoopin' it up together.

Busted

After slipping on the last step of the jungle gym, Cruz busted open his chin.  Since it happened at the rec center, the ambulance had to be called (protocol) which made the whole experience that much more dramatic.  He kept calm as best as he could and we headed off to the ER.  We hoped and prayed that no stitches would be needed.  The first two nurses weren't quite as hopeful and we were guessing that a few stitches were in his near future.  Cruz and I never gave up hope and continued to ask for glue if possible.  When the doctor showed up, he took one look and decided on GLUE!!  Wahoo!  We were thrilled.  No needles needed.

Slicers

Beau coached the 'Slicers' this year.  Oshyn and Cruz were both on the team.  After the first practice I wasn't so sure how the season was going to go.  But with a stellar coach and some hard work, they did really well and won most games.  Best part was they had such a good time and each one of them got so much better.

Motivational O

This guy could be a professional speaker one day.  Mr. Paglinawan (O's 5th grade teacher) has been a great speech teacher and Oshyn is taking it all in.  So fun to listen to him and see him in his element!
