Our little Mr. Nose Picker has insisted on wearing his sun glasses and hat backwards for the past three days. He is VERY cool. And VERY cute.

Summer Memories revisited

All I could think of when I set the kids up to shuck the corn last night was a humid summer evening in Bedford. Ahhh...what a good feeling in my heart and soul.

Sixtastic

We celebrated Oshyn's #6 a little early this year. We picked him up from school before lunch SURPRISE! and then drove to the Trampoline Place in Sac. So so fun for everyone. We jumped, played some dodge ball, filmed a commercial, ate some tree cake and Baskin Robbins ice cream (thanks for letting us in!) & Bella even lost her 1st tooth. What a day!

Magnetic force

I am beginning to wonder if there is a magnet stuck up there with a strong force that continues to pull his finger into that convenient little hole. Any suggestions on how to get it out?

Swiss Family Photographer

The Easter bunny appropriately brought 'Swiss Family Robinson' (aka. the-family-that-has-the-sweetest-tree-house-in-the-world movie) to the Tree Climbing Kid for Easter. So as he was taking out the broccoli from our garden, Oshyn needed to take off his shirt to work like "that guy with the funny hair" (Fritz).

Then he started setting the timer for the camera and getting in pose. I love this kid, his many characters and sharing a great movie.

Ready for School!

Cruz cracks me up with his enthusiasm for school. He likes to get ready in the morning, checking off all of the "to do's" before he gets his backpack on kisses me goodbye and then rides his bike to "school" (around the circle). Then we play preschool at home--tracing his name, playing puzzles, singing a few songs and occasionally having show-and-tell. Cruz likes to quiz me on the letters and their sounds "What's the letter that says SS-SS-ss-ss?" and I'm impressed that he actually knows some. He "reads" books to me and pretends to sound out the words...words that he has memorized--do you think he has been watching his big brother just a bit? I'm excited for Cruzer to start preschool in August. Miss Patty and Teacher Jan here we come again!!

Butterball

I'm sure no ham could taste as good as these cheeks! Tyce is growing like a weed and getting cuter by the minute. His smiles, giggles and squeals are fabulous. He is rolling all over the joint (he rolled on top of Mack the big rig yesterday). I cannot believe little man is almost 4 months old!!
