Happy Halloween!

This Halloween season (because its never just one day) was full of sugar, parties, candy, costumes and of course more candy!

Aloha Friday

Ending the day with friends, a beautiful sunset, a fun surf session, tacos and a dance party is near perfection.  Especially when it started with three little rascals permanent marker tagging the walls, ceilings, floors, photos, paintings, couch, bed, nightstand, toilet, sink, comforter, sheets, rocking chair, cleats, trophies plus much more of our house.  Thank goodness for magic eraser and rubbing alcohol!

I decided that as unpractical as it would be, that I wanted to spend my Grandma's 90th birthday with her. I knew my mom and brother would be in for the celebration so the enticement was even stronger.  With the support of my lovely friends and encouragement of my super husband, it happened. The trek was long, but worth every minute--getting to hug, kiss and be present. I cherished getting to serve when so often I'm too far away to help. This was a special little solo trip that I will hold close to my heart forever.

And PS I got to meet little miss Josephine as a bonus.

Chinaman's Hat

Fall break called for some island travel! We headed over to Chinaman's hat  (Kualoa) for the day and enjoyed the beauty of the East side along with fabulous friends.
