A few times a week Kai and I actually are home for a nap. After I read him a book (which is usually Curious George), I read my own book to myself while he settles down to sleep. I love this time (mostly) because this is his best pretending time where I can hear everything he says. He's usually the dad to all of the stuffed monkeys in his bed and takes good care of them when they're upset. Kai asks them questions and responds with what they say back. He even says, "'Yay!' Everyone yelled." I love it! And sometimes he even falls asleep.
