So Beau and I always wonder--what will happen if Cruz talks as much as Oshyn does? (for those of you who haven't been around Oshyn much, he runs his mouth CONSTANTLY). We love that we have been able to have two sided conversations with him long before he was even 2 and wouldn't ever change the fact that he can definitely communicate with words. But...two little munchkins talking ALL OF THE TIME?!?! Insanity may be too big of a word to describe it, but don't be surprised if I call up Grandma Annie and ask where she bought her ear plugs. After watching this little video you may understand why I think we may be in trouble!

Too Cool for School
Big Timers
The Headlines in today's Lodi News Sentinel read, "Cruz Miller Nobmann and Sophie Love Jones, the two BIGGEST babies in town". 'Two 4-month-old babies put the infant percentile charts in the dust. Measuring in at 28 and 27 1/2 inches long (respectively), these two little people are not so little. Their parents were unaware of their long bodies being that these two families are almost as one and compare only between one another. This may explain why these babies fit only in 9-12 month clothes comfortably.'
Okay...so maybe I made it all up (the newspaper part), but Cruz and Sophia are sucking down some good milk, if you know what I mean! To Cruz, "Keeping up with the Joneses" has a whole new meaning.

Indo Oshyn
This movie is dedicated to all those out there who miss the water and my Uncle Don...with special thanks to "Uncle Sam" Jones for the homemade Indoboard.
And especially to Oshyn, who will watch this a gazillion times, and has been a "wipe out" fan since day one.

'Let's "cut" the whole thing off'
This post is inspired by the song below (seen on youtube) which I have sung for many years with my grandparents. My incredibly HUGE tomato plants...yes, there are just 2...have had to be cut back severely three or more times this summer and I think this will be the last time for the season.
An ode to the tomato plants who have brought me (and all of my neighbors) lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots, as Oshyn would say, Tomatoes. Thank you. Aside from the tomatoes getting a hair cut, Oshyn has also received quite a trim back for the season.
You say tomato, I say tomato...You say ocean, I say Oshyn...Let's 'cut' the whole thing off!

Books, Beanies, and Brothers
These boys are in love. The way they should be, they have the brotherly love down, with only 4 months of practice. Oshyn imitates the way Beau and I talk to Cruz, so imagine all of the fluffy, you are the 'baby of the world', type talk. Cruz full on belly laughs when Oshyn tickles him and even pulls on him when he gets close (when its the hair that gets pulled, Oshyn isn't quite laughing anymore). Oshyn is thrilled when Cruz learns a new trick and tells everyone. They are officially roommates, I even took the portacrib out of our room--wahoo!...we have heard this comment a few times though, "Mom/Dad, Cruz isn't respecting me. He is talking and playing in his crib too loud". Anything for Oshyn to have excuses to come out of his room at night.
We are having fun!

The End of Email Explosions
i have to admit it. i have an addiction. Most of you are probably aware of it--I LOVE to take pictures. i bring my camera most everywhere and even do mini photo shoots of my kids at home. i'd like to blame it on digital cameras. They make it so easy to take a million pictures and then pick the ones you love later. That's my other problem. i think almost every picture taken of my kids is cute and i can hardly pick one or two to send out to my family and friends in an email...so I send 20 and then almost everyone's email rejects my message--hopefully this blog thing will be the end of email explosions.
